Andy B Childress’ Backwoods Festival celebrating on September 29, 2012

Comic Artist Andy B Childress is best known for his Bubba Comics series on bubbaworldcomix,com. What is amazing is that he has one comic strip for each day of the week, and still manages to keep all his characters consistent! He will be sharing his and other artists’ talent at the Backwoods Festival:

Something extra:
They just sent in the design for the US postal cancellation stamp that will be used on Sept 29th in Louisville, MS. It will have Herman the Psychotic Chicken with a word balloon saying BACKWOODS COMICS FESTIVAL & TIME TRAVEL MEET UP. If approved then anything mailed out of Louisville the day of the Festival will have this cancellation stamped on it.

In addition, there will be a postal worker at the Festival from Noon till 2pm for anyone wanting to mail something and get the special cancellation stamp that day. also it will be available for 6 months after, but you may have to specify you want it. Andy B Childress will try to have a special BACKWOODS COMICS FESTIVAL post card for sale also.

As you can see, he is really going all out to make this a day to remember – so won’t you go down and share it with him?

Steve Butler has worked with big names like Marvel, D. C., Darkhorse, Malibu, Archie, Disney, and Valiant. Over the years he has worked on titles like “Web of Spiderman”, “Punisher War Journal”, “Superman”, “Silver Sabel”, “X-Factor annual”, “Avengers West Coast”, and has spent nearly 14 years working on “Sonic the Hedgehodge” comic book. He has also self-published his own book titled MICKEY MCBEAN and will be doing commissions and caricatures at the Festival.
